My name is Nadine Sommer, and through Insulin Insiders I support women with insulin resistance in reducing cravings, understanding their bodies more deeply, and finding a real-life path to sustainable weight loss. Clear, grounded, and without extreme rules.
So many women are trying hard, trying everything, and still feel as though they are standing still. That is exactly why I now work with women who do not simply need another meal plan, but a clear, well-grounded, real-life approach.
With Insulin Insiders, I bring together nutrition, blood sugar, metabolism, and hormonal understanding into an approach that helps women make sense of their cravings, reconnect with their energy, and make sustainable weight loss feel possible again.
A few years ago, I found myself in the same place many women come to me from today: Often tired, struggling with cravings, fighting with my weight, and feeling as though my body simply was not responding the way it should.
When I was diagnosed with insulin resistance and PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome, formerly PCOS), I realised there was more behind my symptoms than just food or discipline. I started exploring the links between blood sugar, metabolism, hormones, and daily life in depth – not only out of personal interest, but also through my training as a health and hormone coach and my studies in nutritional science.
What I was looking for back then was not another extreme plan, but a way that was clear, grounded, and truly practical in real life. That search became the foundation of the approach I use today.

The more I learned about nutrition, blood sugar, metabolism, and hormones, the clearer it became, my body did not need more pressure, it needed an approach that truly supported it.
I began to adjust my nutrition and lifestyle more intentionally, understand the bigger picture more clearly, and build routines based not on extremes, but on stability and real-life practicality. That shift changed not only how I felt in my body, but also how I understood what sustainable change really requires.
Today I know this, it’s not about being perfect. It’s about understanding your body more deeply and finding a step-by-step path that can truly last.
My work isn’t about extreme rules, constant restriction, or the next short-term plan. It’s about understanding the links between nutrition, blood sugar, metabolism, hormones, and everyday life more clearly, and turning that understanding into a plan that is tailored to you and truly supports you.
I support women in reducing cravings, regaining energy, and building a step-by-step structure that makes sustainable weight loss feel possible again. Clear, realistic, and free from unnecessary complexity.
You don’t need perfection, but clear steps you can truly follow through on.
Change has to fit your real life, otherwise it will not last.
When you understand your body better, you can respond more intentionally and more sustainably.
I know how quickly women begin to doubt themselves when they’re not losing weight despite all their effort, when they keep struggling with cravings, or when they no longer feel at home in their own body. Far too often, they are told they simply need to be more consistent, even though the real issue is often much more complex.
That is exactly why Insulin Insiders exists. I wanted to create a space where women feel understood, learn to understand their bodies and their signals more clearly, and find a clear path based on understanding, stability, and real-life practicality instead of pressure, restriction, and constant new extremes.
Alongside my personal experience with insulin resistance and weight struggles, my work is built on professional training, ongoing education, and my studies in nutritional science. What matters to me isn’t making complex topics even more complicated, but translating them in a way that makes sense in real life and can actually be applied, which has also led to many of my own recipes.
I combine health coaching, hormone knowledge, and nutritional science into an approach that doesn’t only inform women, but helps them build concrete and sustainable change.
